Terry Blogg began his professional dance career growing up in Glendale, AZ as a founding member of the Rockaway break-dancing crew. He continued his dance education in more classical styles while a student at Arizona State University with such renowned teachers as Kee Juan Han & Kim Sonderegger at the School of the Ballet Arizona. During his time there he also performed in the musical theater style with the Lyric Opera Theater in Phoenix, AZ as a featured dancer in productions of Carousel, A Chorus Line, & Fiddler On The Roof.
After college, Terry performed as a ballet dancer with Ballet South in Savannah, GA followed by time as a Martha Graham-style modern dancer with Centre Dance Ensemble in Phoenix, AZ where he performed the lead role of Kai in The Snow Queen.
Terry's career reached it's pinnacle when he joined Columbia City Ballet in Columbia, SC under the direction of William Starrett as a company member in 2001. There he performed soloist roles in ballets such as Dracula, Cleopatra, Romeo & Juliet, & The Nutcracker. He has continued to work with the company as both a full-time dancer, guest artist, & fight/stunt coordinator since then. Terry can be seen performing locally with Dance Prism based in Concord, MA. He is best known for the lead role of Franz in Coppelia as well as Shah Zeman in Aladdin & the Act I Pas de Quatre in Swan Lake.
As a teacher, Terry has taught jazz, ballet, partnering, & break-dancing as a guest teacher with Dance Prism as well as Royal Dance Works in Phonix, AZ, Dance Gallery in Glendale, AZ, Encore Dance Academy in Phoenix, AZ, The Studio in Savannah, GA, L'Ecole de Ballet in Littleton, MA, & the Center for Performing Arts of Methuen in Methuen, MA.
