Theresa Sculley

Theresa began her ballet training at age six at the Classical Ballet School of Rhode Island under the direction of Arlene Golden, where she became a soloist and eventually a teacher. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Michael’s College. Theresa continued her ballet training at Granite State Ballet under the direction of Doreen Caferella and at Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater with Melissa Desrosier.

During her performing years she held lead roles in Nutcracker, Giselle, Les Sylphides, Coppellia, La Boutique and many original works.

Theresa has continued her love for ballet by teaching in Southern New Hampshire. She has taught at Broadway Bound Performing Arts Center, Success Dance Studio, Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater, as well as Gate City Ballet and Dance Center. She has choreographed for Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphides , Lion King as well as many original pieces.

The most recent credit to her career is an invitation to teach Master classes at the Maryland Council for Dance Festival this Fall. She is looking forward to sharing her love of ballet with students from many prestigious schools in that area.
